About
Color Wheel Smash is a one-thumb reflex game about color, timing and nerve. A wheel of colored wedges sits at the bottom of the screen. Blocks fall toward it. When a block reaches the wheel, the wedge under the notch has to match its color. Get it wrong and the run is over. Two moves, and that's the whole game: • TAP anywhere to turn the wheel one wedge clockwise. • SWIPE DOWN to slam the lowest block straight onto the wheel. A slam pays three times what a block you let land pays, but it has no grace window: the wrong color ends the run on the spot. PERFECT STREAKS The wheel only turns one way, so every block has a right number of taps. Turn exactly that far and the catch is perfect. Ten perfect catches in a row double your score, twenty triple it, all the way up to ×5. Spin past the color, or turn off a color you were already on, and the streak breaks. You keep playing, but the multiplier starts over. IT KEEPS TIGHTENING Blocks fall faster with every catch. A fourth color joins the wheel at a chain of 20 and a fifth at 45. Reach 65 and you're in endless: the pace keeps climbing, and every catch pays one multiplier step more. MODES • PLAY: an endless run, and the one with the leaderboard. • DAILY RUN: the same wheel and the same blocks for everyone, every day. Your best run of the day is the one that counts, and you can share it. • CASUAL: an endless run at a slower pace, with no leaderboards. It keeps its own best. The main menu shows your best in each mode side by side, with your day streak. All of it stays on your device. FREE TO PLAY, ONE PURCHASE TO UNLOCK You get ten free runs a day to spend in any mode, and the practice round that teaches the wheel is always free. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited runs in every mode, plus the Fractal background. It works with Family Sharing. No subscriptions, and nothing to buy after that. ALSO IN HERE • Game Center leaderboards for endless and daily runs, plus achievements. Game Center is optional, and the whole game works without it. • Every color has its own shape too (circle, triangle, square, diamond, cross), on the wheel and on the blocks, always. Nothing in the game depends on telling colors apart. High contrast and reduced motion are in Settings. • Four backgrounds to choose from (Fluid, Gradient and Black, plus Fractal with the unlock), with dials for movement, contrast and spread. • Every sound is synthesized as you play, with haptics built to match. Both can be switched off. • No ads, no accounts, no tracking. Nothing is collected.
What's new · 1.2.2
New in 1.2.2: • We'll ask you to review the game every once in a while, since you love it so much. From 1.2.1: • The practice round now opens the first time you play any mode, Casual and Daily Run included, and leads straight into the mode you picked. And from 1.2, the biggest update yet: • Casual mode: the same game at a slower pace, with its own best score and no leaderboards. • A practice round that teaches you to spin and slam. It opens on your first play, and you can replay it any time from Settings. • A brand-new main menu: your best in every mode side by side, your day streak, and ten free runs a day to spend however you like. • Daily Run explains itself the first time you open it. • Reaching Endless is now a celebration. The wheel spins, lands, and gives you a breather before the real test begins.
