About

You know five ways to play a G. There are about a hundred. Every Chord shows you the ones your hand can actually reach, easiest first. It works the other way round too: put your fingers on the neck, and it tells you what you just played. EVERY POSITION, EASIEST FIRST Most chord apps hand you one diagram and stop. Pick a chord here and the positions arrive in order: the open shape you already know, then the barre, then the closed shapes further up the neck, then the three- and four-string grips nobody taught you. Each one says which CAGED shape it comes from and where it sits. Nothing is behind a level, a streak or a lesson plan. WHAT IS THIS CHORD? You worked something out by ear and you have no idea what it is. Tap the notes on a full 20-fret neck and Every Chord names it, with the other names it could be, ranked, because four notes on a guitar are often two or three chords at once depending on what the bass is doing. Drag sideways to lay a barre. Muted and open strings count as part of the answer. NAMES THAT ARE ACTUALLY RIGHT Flats where flats belong, sharps where sharps belong. Every dot is coloured by what it does in the chord (root, third, fifth), so the shape teaches you something even when you are only copying it. EXPLORE: WHERE THIS CHORD CAN GO Pick a shape and open Explore. The grip in your hand sits on top. Underneath: the swaps that keep the progression working (sus, add9, the relative minor, the maj7), then the chords that usually come next, each one a short move for your hand. Tap a card to hear the move before you take it. Further out: the tritone sub, the secondary dominant, the borrowed chord. SCALES ON THE SAME NECK Every position of twelve scales and modes, painted across the whole fretboard, root notes picked out. Tap any note to hear it. MADE FOR PLAYING - Hear any voicing strummed, or any single note on its own. - Left-handed in one tap. Diagrams vertical or horizontal. - Dots labelled with note names or with chord degrees. - 29 chord types, from power chords to maj9, m11, 13 and 7#9. - Fully offline. No account, no sign-in, no network of any kind. - In English and French. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO No song library. No tabs. No tuner, no metronome, no lessons, no practice streaks, no microphone. It is a reference for the instrument and it opens straight onto the thing you came for. ONE PRICE, ONCE Free: the open and barre shapes of every chord, the whole neck for naming what you play, Explore's everyday swaps and next chords, and every scale. Every Chord Pro is a single purchase that unlocks the closed and partial voicings further up the neck and the advanced substitutions. No subscription, no free trial, no advertising, no popup in the middle of a chord. No data leaves your phone, because none is collected. For the self-taught player stuck on the same six shapes, the student who forgot what the teacher wrote down, the songwriter hunting a better voicing, and anyone who has ever worked something out by ear and wanted to know its name.
