SAWM. Two words, four letters, one wheel. You drag a finger from letter to letter, the word drops into the grid, and when the level is done it tells you what it means. Words of Islam is a word connect game in which every word comes from Islamic vocabulary: the pillars of Islam, prayer, prophets, Ramadan, the names of Allah and much more. Nearly 900 different terms across 1000 levels, written in Latin letters, so you spell SALAH, ZAKAT and SABR. No Arabic script to read. The start is gentle: the first 20 levels have only two words, then three, then four, and later they mix. Every level tells you how hard it is before you begin, from "Very easy" to "Expert". Stuck? Reveal a letter, or a whole word, for coins. You earn coins by solving levels, finding bonus words or watching a short video. No time limit, no lives. The levels lead through five cities: Makkah, Madinah, Al-Quds, Istanbul and Cordoba, each painted in its own dawn light. Along the way you collect 50 cards of places such as the Cave of Hira, the Dome of the Rock and the Alhambra, each with a few lines of history. Hidden bonus words fill a chest with coins, and the weekly report shows the days you played and the terms you learned. No sign up, no account, no chat. Your progress stays on the device. The levels are built into the app, so it all works on a train or a plane. A connection is only needed for ads, purchases and links. Free with ads. Levels 1 to 5 are ad free; after that there is a banner below the wheel and an ad every two or three levels. A single purchase removes both for good. Available in English and German.
