About
Fill in the blanks with numbers and signs to hit the target exactly. (? op ?) op ? = 46 numbers you may use: 2 2 100 4 answer: (100 / 2) - 4 Place a number, then a sign, then a number. The brackets are printed for you, so there is never any doubt about what comes first. - Built for children learning arithmetic The first 12 puzzles give you one sign at a time: only +, then only -, then only x, then only /. It starts as small as "? + ? = 5", so a six-year-old can solve puzzle one. There are 14 steps in all, each adding a little to the rules. - Take as long as you like Practice and the Daily never run out: the clock counts up, so a child can think for as long as they like, and nobody is rushed into a wrong answer. Solving inside the 60 to 90 second par earns the third star, and that is all speed changes. (Streak mode is the one exception: there each puzzle is on a 60-90 second clock.) - You will never solve one by accident Every puzzle is machine-checked before you are shown it. Puzzles reachable by adding and subtracting alone are thrown away. So are puzzles solved by always taking whichever move lands nearest the target. What is left are puzzles where only a tiny fraction of all possible workings hit the target. - Brackets first, exactly as taught at school Every expression on screen carries the brackets it needs, and the running total is printed underneath, so a child can follow how the answer was built. - What is in it 2 to 6 numbers and 2 to 6 blanks, generated on the spot. You will never be handed the same puzzle twice. 14 steps that tighten as you play. Experience raises your level and earns you 9 ranks. The Daily deals everyone the same hand, and gets harder through the week. Streak mode runs until you miss one. Every puzzle you fail shows you a worked solution. A one-off purchase removes the ads. The game itself is identical either way. Privacy policy: https://robonet-c.jp/apps/volta/privacy-policy.en.html Terms of use: https://robonet-c.jp/apps/volta/terms-of-service.en.html
