Your outing streak now tells the truth. Once a week passes with no trail logged, the home screen shows the streak as ended instead of holding on to the old count.

About
Rail Trail is a gamified log for real rail-trails and greenways — the paved, car-free paths built on old railroad corridors across the country. How it works: 1. Find rail-trails near you, anywhere in the United States, drawn live from OpenStreetMap's own map of converted railway corridors. Free, no account, no subscription. 2. Pick one you've actually walked or biked and log it. No GPS check-in, no live tracking — just an honest tap when you've done it. Add a note or a photo afterwards if you want to. 3. Build your collection. Every trail you log joins a growing list, sorted by rarity tier (common, notable, flagship) so a big-name trail feels like a bigger get. 4. Keep your streak alive. Every outing in a row builds the counter. Real outings aren't a daily habit, so the streak survives up to a week between trails — go longer than that and it resets. 5. Earn badges for milestones: your first trail, five logged, fifteen logged, 100+ miles total, three flagship trails, 7 outings in a row, 30 outings in a row, and unlocking your first region pack. Finding and logging trails near you is free everywhere, forever. On top of that, Rail Trail carries a hand-curated, fact-checked catalog of 23 landmark rail-trails with their history, their mileage and a rarity tier — the Mid-Atlantic set is included, and the Midwest and Southeast sets unlock with a one-time purchase. Each is yours forever, no subscription. No account, no sign-in, no sample data. Launch and log your first trail immediately. Your collection, streak, badges and photos all live on your device.
