New version 1.0.2 → 1.0.3

- Lengths and weights typed with a decimal comma, like 22,5, are now saved instead of quietly disappearing from the catch. - A negative or unreadable size gets a clear prompt rather than being stored. - Restore in the Shop now says what it found. - When prices can't load, the Shop says so and offers Try again instead of spinning forever.

About

CatchJournal is a fast, private fishing catch log -- not a map, not a social feed, not a subscription. Log a catch in seconds and watch a real species collection build up over time. LOG ANY FISH, FREE Every one of the 66 species can be logged from the moment you install, with no purchase of any kind. Your catches and your personal bests are your own records and are never locked away. CORE LOOP 1. Log a catch: species, the date you caught it (today by default, or back-date it when you get home), optional length and weight, the bait or lure, a photo taken right there with the camera, and whether you released it. 2. The first time you catch a species it's marked in your Collection. 3. Keep fishing regularly -- at least once a week -- to build a streak. One optional reminder the evening before it would lapse. Never a daily nag. Made a mistake, or measured it properly after the photo? Edit any catch afterwards. SPECIES CARDS Every species card is backed by real taxonomy and original reference facts, not filler text -- habitat, typical size, a fact about the species, and a rarity tier. Cards for ~16 of the most commonly targeted freshwater species (bass, panfish, catfish, trout, walleye, pike, perch, carp) are free from the start. CONTENT PACKS (one-time purchase, not a subscription) - Freshwater Pack: species cards for 18 more fish, including the notoriously hard-to-land Muskellunge. - Saltwater Pack: species cards for 18 coastal fish, including Tarpon and the catch-and-release-only Goliath Grouper. - Fly-Fishing Targets Pack: species cards for 14 fish prized by fly anglers, including Golden Trout and Atlantic Salmon. Every pack is a permanent unlock. No subscription, ever. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Everything stays on your device. There's no account and nothing to sign into. Photos are stored on your phone. Location, if you choose to attach it to a catch, is stored locally and shown only to you on that catch -- it's never put on a map, never synced anywhere, and never required. Always check and follow your local fishing regulations -- size and bag limits vary by state and water body, and CatchJournal doesn't track them.
