Museum Faceoff: Art Quiz

About

Can you guess when an artwork was created just by looking? Museum Faceoff is a quick, single-player card game where art meets history. Face a reference artwork and choose one of three cards that is older or newer, as the question asks. There is exactly one correct answer each round, and the dates stay hidden until you make your choice. The reveal is half the fun! After each answer, all four artworks appear on a timeline, showing their original date labels and estimated date ranges. When dates overlap, the game explains that their exact order is uncertain. Selected artworks also include bite-sized facts to discover on the cards and in their detail views. FEATURES • 240 artworks selected from The Cleveland Museum of Art's Open Access data (CC0). • Every fourth question features artworks of the same type. • Earn 100 points for a correct answer, plus a 25-point bonus for each consecutive correct answer starting with the second. • Track your highest score and longest winning streak. • Compare high scores on the optional Game Center leaderboard. • Enjoy regular rounds offline with artwork images and data included in the app. • Discover a randomly selected featured artwork whenever you launch the app. PLAY FREE, UNLOCK UNLIMITED Answer two questions per day for free. A single, one-time in-app purchase removes the daily question limit. No subscriptions. No ads. The interface supports eight languages.
