Munich Vinyl Radio

About

The stream is licensed for Germany by the German collecting societies GEMA and GVL. It cannot be played outside Germany — the app will tell you so. Munich Vinyl Radio is a radio station from Munich. What plays is what sits on my shelf: Fishbone next to Tom Waits, Rage Against the Machine next to Judy Garland, Zappa next to Louis Armstrong. No genre, no playlist logic, no presenter. Every record is transferred by me, from the groove, not from a database. Recorded at 192 kHz and 24 bit, broadcast as FLAC, so nothing is lost on the way. In the app: • One stream, one button • Title, artist, album and cover art while it plays • Automatic quality: full resolution on a DAC or wired, frugal over Bluetooth and mobile data. Can also be fixed manually. • Lock screen, Bluetooth and car audio • No ads, no account, no sign-up The app is free. The station is funded by its listeners — GEMA, GVL and servers cost money. There is a link in the app for anyone who would like to help. Florian Reiterer, Munich
