About
A living colony. A laboratory in your pocket. Explore a miniature 3D world where food, water and changing conditions shape a simulated fruit fly colony. Place a sample, watch what happens and follow life as it develops. Fly Lab turns curiosity into experiments. What changes when you offer different foods? How does the environment affect activity? What can the vital readings tell you that movement alone cannot? START EXPLORING FOR FREE • Place sucrose, yeast, banana and water in the chamber. • Adjust light, temperature, humidity and the day cycle. • Watch behaviour alongside food, water, energy and other vital readings. • Follow colony development through different life stages. • Explore experiment ideas and a simplified neural view. • Advance one hour at a time using the replenishing time reserve. GO FURTHER WITH FULL LAB One optional, one-time purchase unlocks: • Automatic feeding and water maintenance. • Simulated hazards: salt, ethanol and cleaner. • Additional time controls: advance six hours, skip to morning or move to the next life stage. Time advances use a three-charge reserve, with one charge returning every 20 real minutes. Full Lab does not remove these limits. A SMALL WORLD TO KEEP EXPLORING Try a different setup. Make a prediction. Compare what changes. Fly Lab is made for curious minds who enjoy biology, experimentation and observing a system respond to their choices. Available for iPhone and iPad in English and Danish. No subscription. Fly Lab is an educational simulation with simplified biological models, not a complete fruit fly connectome or a scientific prediction tool. Harmful experiments belong only in the simulation, never on living insects.
