Darkroom Kit

About

Remove unwanted RAW originals from RAW+JPEG/HEIF pairs while keeping a verified compressed copy. Darkroom Kit works with RAW and JPEG/HEIF resources paired within one Apple Photos asset. Preview photos, select all, invert or clear the selection, or drag continuously across rows. Batch cleanup shows copy preparation and verification progress before the system deletion confirmation. After your confirmation, the app creates and verifies a JPEG/HEIF copy before requesting deletion of the entire original pair. Supported capture date, location and regular album membership are preserved. Favorites, edited, hidden, shared and RAW-only photos remain protected. Separate imports are not matched by image content. Cleanup permanently removes RAW editing flexibility once originals are no longer recoverable. Back up originals you want to keep. The replacement is a new photo asset; captions, keywords, face recognition and album order may change. Extra temporary storage is required and space is not freed immediately. iCloud Photos can synchronize deletion to other devices. Originals may be recovered in Photos > Recently Deleted while they remain available there. Scanning does not automatically download iCloud originals. Downloads require explicit confirmation. Interrupted cleanup never resumes automatically; review cleanup history before retrying. Processing stays on your device, with no account, ads or tracking. Try the bundled sample mode without Photos access; it never changes your library.
