StitchCount keeps your place in a written crochet or knitting pattern. Import a pattern you own, confirm whether it uses US or UK terms, and count rows on your device, so an evening that gets interrupted ends with one glance at the row you were on instead of a recount. WHAT STITCHCOUNT DOES • Imports a written pattern: a PDF with a real text layer, a photo of the page, or text you type in yourself • Checks the pages first and says plainly whether the wording can be read, before anything is sent or spent • Asks whether the pattern uses US or UK terms, explains each abbreviation beside the wording it came from, and leaves the designer's text exactly as printed • Splits the pattern into sections with AI, and points every step back to the page and the exact wording it was quoted from • Runs its own checks on row numbering, repeat counts and cross-references, and keeps guided counting locked on any section whose steps cannot be traced back to the page • Counts row by row on your device, saving every tap as you make it, with undo and a reopen that lands on the row you stopped at • Leaves symbol-only charts alone: they are not organized, so you read the original and count them by hand, at no cost THREE STEPS 1. Every tap is saved, undo is always there, and reopening returns you to the same row. PURCHASE OPTIONS StitchCount is free to download and starts with a small number of AI credits. Organizing one section uses one credit, and the number of sections is shown and accepted before anything is sent, so AI use stays limited to the credits you hold. Weekly Premium is an auto-renewing weekly subscription that includes AI credits every week. Credit packs are separate one-time purchases and their credits do not expire. Local Pro is a one-time purchase for local features only, namely keeping more than one project, backing your projects up to a file and exporting a source summary, and it adds no AI credits. Counting by hand, the project you are counting now, undo and recovery stay free. Prices are shown before payment, and purchases can be restored. DATA AND TRUST No account is needed to count. A PDF's text layer is read on your device, and text in a photo is recognized on your device. The pattern wording is then sent to The Sky Bringup AI service to be split into the sections you confirm. StitchCount only organizes the words you give it: it does not replace the designer's copyright, stitch instructions or safety guidance, and it never claims the pattern itself is correct.
