Aloud: Read Anything

About

Aloud reads anything to you. Add a PDF, a Word document, an EPUB, a web page, or plain text and Aloud reads the whole thing back in a natural voice. Share a note from the Notes app, a page from Safari, or a file from Mail and it lands in your library, ready to play. SPEED THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS Listen from 0.5x to 5.0x in 0.1x steps. Change speed while it is playing. No chipmunk pitch, no waiting for the sentence to end. READS ALMOST ANY FILE PDF (including scanned pages), Word, PowerPoint, EPUB, OpenDocument, RTF, HTML, Markdown, plain text, and photos of text. Wrong file extension? Aloud looks at the bytes, not the name. TWO CLEAR VOICES Aloud picks the two best voices installed on your iPhone. Download Apple's Premium voices in Settings for even more natural speech. MADE FOR iOS Share sheet, Open in Aloud, Siri and Shortcuts actions (Read Text Aloud, Read Clipboard), background playback, lock screen and AirPods controls. Tap any sentence to jump there. Aloud remembers where you stopped in every document. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE Nothing you read is uploaded. Aloud sends only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, and you can turn those off in Settings. ALOUD PRO Aloud requires an Aloud Pro subscription: $9.99 per month, billed monthly through your Apple Account, renewing automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions. Prices may vary by region.
