LEARN BY PLAYING Explore 72 free lessons in the Skill Garden, from the board and pieces to openings, tactics, strategy and endgames. Follow demonstrations, try positions yourself and prove skills to open new paths. Placement challenges help you find a starting point. A DAILY CHESS CHALLENGE Solve checkmate puzzles in one, two or three moves, or try the optional mate-in-five Challenger. Revisit puzzle days, replay solutions and track your progress. PLAY YOUR WAY Practice against three offline bot levels. Play together on one device, connect through Nearby, or challenge Game Center friends in correspondence games and live matches with 10 minutes per player. Continue saved local games where you left off. REVIEW AND IMPROVE Replay saved games, compare moves and turn useful positions into personal practice. Import PGN games to study variations and export your own moves. Mac offers a spacious review workspace. MAKE THE BOARD YOURS Start with Pastel Garden or Classic Clarity. Choose optional character sets, player logos and reactions. Prove all 72 skills to earn Everbloom Sovereigns, a set unlocked through learning.
