Letter Punch is a word game inspired by the era of the printing press. Manage your rack and look for the move that turns a handful of letters into a winning score. With longer-word bonuses and more balanced racks, the board is full of opportunities. Can you find them? Longer words earn increasing bonuses starting at five letters. Your rack will always have at least 2 vowels, at least 2 consonants, and no more than 2 of any letter. You can exchange letters at a cost of 5 points per letter without losing your turn. Three ways to play: Play Gutenberg — Take on Gutenberg at your choice of difficulty. Pass and Play — Share one device and play face-to-face. Play Online — Invite another Letter Punch player and take turns whenever it suits you. Three ways to handle word validity: Open mode — The game checks whether your word is valid before you play it. Checking mode — Spend 5 points to check whether a word is valid. The result is private. Challenge mode — Challenge an opponent’s questionable word. If you’re right, your opponent loses 10 points. If you’re wrong, you lose 10 points. The Letter Box shows which letters still remain. The Archive keeps a record of the game as it unfolds, including moves, challenges, and checks. No ads.
