Simple Note Taker takes a note in one gesture: type it, say it, film it, photograph it, or share it straight in from another app. Give it a title if you like, drop it into a collection with a tap, and find it again later by searching. WHAT IT CAPTURES • Text, with an optional title • Photos, screenshots and files • Voice notes and videos (Pro). Videos are made smaller on your phone before they are saved, so they sync quickly • Anything shared in from another app, through the share sheet KEEP IT TIDY Put notes into collections with one tap: work, home, ideas, whatever you like. A note can be in several collections or none, and removing a collection never deletes a note. Your notes are grouped by day, newest first. DON'T FORGET IT Put a time on any note and your iPhone nudges you. The reminder is set on the device, so it arrives with no signal and with the app closed. iOS keeps the 64 soonest ready at once; beyond that they queue and arm themselves as earlier ones pass. ON YOUR PHONE AND IN YOUR BROWSER (Cloud) Sign in on the iPhone app and the Chrome extension and the same notes appear in both. Every change is sent straight away, the app checks for new notes every hour, and a sync button is always there. Ask a plain question and get an answer from your own notes. IT WORKS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Open the app and start writing. With no account your notes live on this phone and nowhere else. If you sign in later, the app asks before adding the notes already on your phone to your account. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Turn on end-to-end encryption and notes are sealed on this phone with a passphrase we never receive. The trade-off is stated at the switch: a server that cannot read your notes cannot search them or answer questions about them. No advertising. No analytics that follow you. Nothing sold.
