Bandline turns your IELTS practice scores into an answer to the only question that matters: at this rate, will you hit your band by exam day? CALCULATE YOUR BAND, PROPERLY Enter your raw marks out of 40 for Listening and Reading and get the band. Add Writing and Speaking and Bandline computes your overall band using the official rule — which is not ordinary rounding. A mean of 6.25 becomes 6.5, and 6.75 becomes 7.0. Bandline shows the full arithmetic every time, so you never have to check it against a website again. Academic and General Training are marked from different tables. Bandline uses the right one, and tells you which is which. SEE WHETHER YOU'RE ON TRACK Every result lands on a calendar that fills in with colour as you practise. A trend line is drawn through your scores with your target as a dashed line across it, and a projection running forward to your exam date. It refuses to guess. Fewer than three results, or results spanning less than ten days, and Bandline tells you what's missing instead of drawing a confident line through noise. Untimed practice is plotted but left out of the projection, because a relaxed run-through scores higher than the same person under exam conditions. You'll also see which paper is holding you back — and for Listening and Reading, exactly how many more correct answers would move it up a band. "You need band 7" is a wish. "Four more correct answers" is tonight's practice. SPELL WHAT YOU HEAR You lose the mark for a misspelling even when you heard the word perfectly. Accommodation. Questionnaire. Receipt. Wednesday.
