About

Scour is not about storage or duplicates. It finds the photos that could hurt you if someone else saw them. You screenshot a bank transfer. You photograph your passport for a form. You save a recovery phrase "just for a minute." You keep the Wi-Fi card from a rental, a boarding pass, a screenshot with an API key in it. Years later they are all still in your camera roll, and you have no idea which ones. Scour reads every photo on your iPhone and shows you the ones holding something you would not want anyone else to see. FREE - Credit and debit card numbers: found, highlighted and deleted one by one, with no time limit. WITH SCOUR PRO, PAID ONCE - IBANs and bank details - Passports and ID cards (by their machine-readable lines) - Crypto recovery phrases and wallet addresses - Wi-Fi passwords and two-factor setup codes in QR codes - Boarding passes - Live API keys and access tokens - Photo groups: receipts and invoices, photos of cards, passport pages, cash and cheques, chequebooks, handwritten notes, envelopes - Delete everything a scan found, or a whole group, in one step IT CHECKS BEFORE IT ACCUSES A photo is only flagged when what it holds actually validates. Card numbers pass the Luhn algorithm, IBANs mod-97, passports and ID cards their own check digits, recovery phrases the BIP-39 word list, wallet addresses their own checksum, keys the prefix their issuer publishes. A date or an order number will not be reported as a card. Groups are different: they are what a photo looks like, not what it holds. Scour is confident there, not certain, so it counts them and you decide. WHAT IT DOES NOT Scour does not read passwords you typed, driver's licences, or the number printed on the front of an ID card. A free scan reports card numbers only, and says so: it never tells you a library is clean when other kinds were not shown. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Reading and matching happen entirely on this device. No photo, no thumbnail and no text found inside a photo is ever uploaded. Scour sends usage counts and whether Scour Pro is active, never what was found. Details are in the privacy policy. There is no account. Deleting always goes through iOS: it asks before anything is removed, and deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. ONE PRICE, PAID ONCE Scour Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews. If you had Scour before version 1.1.0, Scour Pro is included for you at no charge.
