More GB: Phone Storage

About

Storage full? More GB finds the space you can actually get back, and measures it in the same number Settings uses. LOWER THE NUMBER IN SETTINGS The only thing any app can take off what Settings shows as used is your own photos and videos. More GB does that carefully: • Re-encode large videos to HEVC, or bring 4K down to 1080p • Rewrite ProRAW photos as full-size HEIC • Turn old Live Photos into stills • Find screenshots, screen recordings, bursts and near-duplicates Nothing changes until you choose it, and every rewrite keeps the date, place, favorite and albums. Deleted items wait in Recently Deleted, and the app reminds you to empty it, because until then Settings still counts them. MAKE CACHED SPACE USABLE NOW iOS also holds cache it clears only when something needs the room, so a video or an update can run out of space even when Settings looks fine. More GB asks iOS to clear it now and measures what came back. Settings already counts that cache as free, so this part shows up as usable free space, not as a drop in Settings. Some runs return several gigabytes, some return nothing, and the app says which. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No app can empty System Data or another app's cache, and More GB does not pretend to. Where a step only you can take would help, such as the ProRes clean-up on Pro models, the app walks you through it and measures the result. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no tracking. Everything runs on your iPhone. WHAT IS FREE The full storage breakdown is free, and so are your first reclaim run and your first clean-up. After that, the clean-up tools are part of Pro.
