On the wide open iPhone Duo display, they sit in a right-side rail beside your care plan; on narrower or portrait displays, they appear as bottom tabs. Today keeps scheduled care and Quick Record together, while History preserves the receipt trail. The layout changes, not your records or what an action means. FACTUAL CARE HISTORY Every recording creates a receipt with the pet, care item, outcome, time and person who recorded it. Last Done stays close to each pet’s plan. A ten-second Undo adds a linked receipt, and later corrections preserve the original record instead of silently rewriting it. YOUR ROUTINE, NOT OURS Create meals, walks, litter care, grooming, play, training, medication or a custom care item. Choose an exact time or Anytime Today, set the recurrence, and add the quantity or instructions you use at home. Petstead also keeps appointments and other owner-entered dates in Upcoming. PROMPTS YOU CONTROL Choose no alert, a notification, or, on supported iOS versions, an alarm. Opening or stopping an alert never records care automatically. MEDICATION, WITHOUT AUTOMATIC ADVICE Enter the medication name, amount, method, schedule and instructions supplied by your veterinarian or medication label. Petstead stores and repeats what you enter. It does not diagnose, calculate dosage, check interactions, or decide whether medication is due, safe, appropriate or administered. Petstead Plus adds unlimited pets, optional iCloud Household sharing, explicit responsibility requests, multi-pet history and multi-pet sitter handovers. A request is not marked Covered until the other person accepts it, and responsibility never counts as completion. PRIVATE AND USEFUL WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Petstead is local-first and does not require a Petstead account or custom backend. Optional iCloud backup and restore protect your private library across iPhones using the same Apple Account. Household sharing is separate: you select the pets to include, and medication stays excluded unless you enable it separately.
