Duplicate Smasher finds the photos quietly eating your storage, and lets you clear them out in a couple of taps. WHAT IT FINDS • Duplicates — near-identical shots and burst frames, grouped together with the sharpest, highest-resolution one already picked out for you to keep. • Blurry & Dark — out-of-focus shots, motion blur, and accidental pocket photos. A Low / Balanced / High control lets you decide how aggressive it is. • Screenshots — the ones that have been piling up for years. • Receipts, Docs & Memes — photos of paperwork, forms and saved images, spotted on-device by Apple's Vision framework. HOW IT WORKS Tap Scan. Duplicate Smasher reads through your library and shows what it found, grouped by category, with an estimate of how much space you would get back. Tap any photo to keep it or mark it for removal. Touch and hold for a full-screen look before you decide. Nothing is chosen for you except the sharpest frame in each duplicate group, and you can override that too. When you are happy with the selection, tap Delete. iOS asks you to confirm, and everything goes to Recently Deleted, where it stays recoverable for 30 days. Prefer a second pass? Send your selection to review albums inside Photos and delete from there instead. A big library takes a while to analyze, so photos are scanned newest first. Stop the scan whenever you like and review what it found so far. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account, no sign-up, no network request, and no analytics. Your photos are never uploaded, copied, or shared, because the app never talks to the internet at all. NO NONSENSE No ads. No subscription. No paywall in front of the delete button.
