Wuhbu (say it "WUB-you") is a small, happy collection of nine games for toddlers, for iPhone and iPad. It costs $0.99, once. No subscription. No ads. No in-app purchases. No accounts. Nothing is collected, ever. And every update is free, for life. WHY "WUHBU"? When our daughter was a toddler, "love you" came out as "wub-you." It's the app we wished existed for her: something a two-year-old can open and play without accidentally buying anything, leaving the app, or being sold to. NINE GAMES, ONE PURPLE FRIEND • Bubbles — pop the floating bubbles. Every pop releases a star, and a lucky pop hides a gold one. Collect five! • Shapes — drag circles, stars, hearts and more into their outlines. Snap, chime, hooray. • Animals — a gentle matching game. Open the doors to find the boy and girl cat, dog, cow, pig, frog and duck. Each one says its name and makes its sound. • Paint — fat crayons, a rainbow crayon and stickers to stamp. Several fingers at once. • Piano — eight big colorful keys. Tap or slide. • Fireflies — catch the glowing firefly in the night sky and put it in the jar. • Frosty — wipe frost off the window with your fingers to find the surprise underneath: a park, the sea, outer space, a farm, a starry night… and a friend who pops up to say hi. • Blocks — tap to drop wooden blocks, stack them high, then swipe to knock the tower down. Clatter! • Feed Wuhbu — the purple friend is hungry! Drag the food to its mouth for a happy munch. Try the shoe and see what happens. WUHBU CHANGES WITH THE SEASONS Wuhbu dresses up by itself through the year, using only the date on your device: no location, no internet. In autumn: falling leaves, a cosy pumpkin-orange hat, candy apples and pie in Feed Wuhbu, a Decorate-a-Pumpkin page in Paint, and a pumpkin-patch surprise in Frosty.
