Your screenshots are full of things you meant to keep: links, booking details, instructions, product information, QR codes, notes and more. That makes cleaning them up difficult. You may not need the image anymore — but you may still need what is inside it. ReclaimRoll helps you save useful information from screenshots into a Markdown archive, then review and remove screenshots you no longer need. SAVE WHAT MATTERS Extract useful information from your screenshots, including: • Text • URLs • QR codes • Barcodes The extracted content is saved with capture dates into a single Markdown file that you can export through Files. The images themselves are not embedded in the archive. FIND SIMILAR SCREENSHOTS ReclaimRoll uses capture time and on-device image analysis to group similar screenshots. A representative image is protected, and screenshots marked as Favorites are not selected as deletion candidates. Review each group before deciding what to remove. REVIEW BEFORE DELETING Screenshots are separated so you can distinguish between: • Text-heavy screenshots • Screenshots that may contain important visual information • Screenshots that could not be read reliably Images that may depend on visual information are not preselected for deletion. Unreadable images cannot be selected through the information-saving cleanup flow. Nothing is deleted automatically. Apple’s system confirmation appears before the final deletion.
