RouteTogether

About

RouteTogether helps groups traveling separately to one destination stay coordinated without constant check-in texts. CREATE A SHARED TRIP Choose a destination, set an optional arrival time, and invite family or friends through private iCloud sharing. SEE EVERYONE'S PROGRESS When participants choose to share, RouteTogether shows current trip status and ETA in one place. See who is driving, stopped, paused, delayed, or arrived. SHARE ON YOUR TERMS Choose a fixed sharing window or keep sharing until everyone arrives. Pause or stop at any time. RouteTogether stores one current location record per participant instead of building a route history. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Trips use private CloudKit sharing. Only invited people who accept can access the trip. There are no ads or third-party analytics. BUILT FOR REAL TRAVEL Apple Maps powers destination search and route estimates. Background location is used only during an active sharing session when you enable it and grant permission. RouteTogether is not an emergency or safety-monitoring service and does not provide turn-by-turn navigation. ETAs depend on Apple Maps, location accuracy, connectivity, and traffic availability.
