Milefold

About

Milefold records business mileage for staff whose companies manage trip approval and reimbursement. Milefold is a multi-tenant service available to companies and organizations of any size. It is not created for or restricted to a single company or closed partner group. Any company can request onboarding at milefold.vercel.app. Milefold then provisions its company workspace and first administrator; that administrator invites staff to create their own credentials and use the mobile app. Once signed in, staff can: • Start and stop GPS recording for a work trip. • Keep recording while the screen is locked or the app is in the background. • Save trip points on the phone when offline and sync them later. • Review the route, distance, duration, and start and end addresses. • Mark a trip as business or personal. • Add a purpose, manage vehicles, and submit a trip for review. • Enter a missed trip manually. • See whether a submitted trip is approved, queried, or rejected. • Receive trip updates in the notification center. Company administrators set mileage rates and approval rules in the Milefold web portal. Staff can review the same trip details their company receives. Staff accounts are provided by their company administrator. Company onboarding begins on the public Milefold website and is not completed inside the iOS app.
