Radio Organ

About

Radio Organ brings the warm, dusty, and unpredictable character of mid-century broadcast radio straight into your iOS DAW. Part vintage tonewheel organ, part vacuum-tube shortwave receiver, Radio Organ lets you play lush organ chords while sweeping across dynamic AM/FM frequency bands. Tune into crisp, locked-in harmonics or drift out into soft heterodyne squeals, static textures, and warm tube saturation. Whether you're scoring a lofi track, adding vintage warmth to a track, or searching for an inspiring AUv3 instrument for live performance, Radio Organ delivers an unmistakable hardware experience. KEY FEATURES Vintage Tonewheel Engine: 4 harmonic drawbars (16', 8', 4', 2') with selectable Square and Sawtooth waveforms. Dynamic Magic Eye Tuning: Animated EM80 tube visualizer that opens and closes as you hunt for frequency locks. Auto-Scan LFO: Long-press the Magic Eye tube to engage an automatic 12-second frequency sweep across the dial. Tube Saturation & Sag: Dedicated Preamp Gain and Power Amp Sag circuits that react dynamically to your polyphony and playing style. Interactive Spring Reverb Tank: Touch, drag, or strike the visible spring tank on screen for instant spring feedback and physical sound design. Asymmetric Radio Static: Distinct AM Shortwave (left dial) and FM High-Frequency (right dial) static, hum, and heterodyne whine characteristics. Performance Control: Adjustable Key Click, Attack/Release envelopes, Rotary Speaker simulation, Chorus, Vibrato, and Percussion. Full AUv3 & Standalone: Works seamlessly as a standalone instrument or an AUv3 plugin inside GarageBand, AUM, Cubasis, Drambo, and Logic Pro for iPad.
