Detox My Life: Ingredients

About

Scan what you use. See what's in it. Detox your home, one swap at a time. Detox My Life is an ingredient checker that looks at the product itself — no barcode, no database to miss, and no ingredient panel required. Point the camera at the shampoo, the dish soap, the cooking oil, the candle, the kids' sunscreen, the scratched non-stick pan, tonight's dinner. It reads the panel when there is one, and when there isn't it works the rest out from the brand, the kind of product, or what the thing is made of — and it always tells you which. Then it works out how you're about to use it (a bottle of canola on the counter is about to be heated; a pump lotion stays on skin) and researches every ingredient for that use. EVIDENCE YOU CAN CHECK, IN THE LENS YOU CHOOSE Every flagged ingredient carries a plain-English claim, why it applies to this use, and live sources you can open. Claims are sorted into three tiers: • Consensus — regulatory action, systematic reviews, major-body positions • Emerging — peer-reviewed but contested, recent, or animal and in-vitro work • Fringe — hypotheses and commentary, labelled as not consensus and shown with the other side Pick your lens: Mainstream, Cautious or Based. The app shows you what a wider lens would add and lets you decide. It never picks a winner for you, and it never hides a source. A SCORE FOR YOUR WHOLE HOME, WITHOUT A QUESTIONNAIRE No sign-up, no setup, no ten-minute interview. Open it and start photographing what you use — the Detox Score from 0 to 100 and the map of your home build themselves as you go, with no account and nothing leaving your phone. The score is computed on your device by a rule engine you can read; the same inputs always give the same number. A PLAN, NOT A BADGE Other ingredient checker apps stop at a red circle. Detox My Life ranks your next three swaps by impact and ease, suggests cleaner alternative types (never brands, never affiliate links), and moves the score the moment you mark a swap done. A % change graph shows the house getting cleaner month by month. ANY PRODUCT, ANY COUNTRY Photo ingredient checker, not a barcode lookup: store brands, imports, boutique products, the bottle under the sink and the pan on the hob all work the same. Nothing written on it at all? It still names what the thing is made of, and says that it estimated. Or add it by hand — the plan is never blocked. FREE, AND FAIR Free forever: the score, five scans a month with full results and sources, your next swap, manual add, and export. No ads. No account. Detox My Life Pro unlocks: unlimited scans, lens control and saved research, the full next-three plan with snooze and skip, history graphs and per-room breakdown, gentle reminders, kids & pets and fragrance-free modes, and household export. Billing is store-managed — cancel anytime in the App Store. No card needed to start. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE Detox My Life shows research with sources and evidence tiers. It does not diagnose, treat, or tell you to start or stop anything. Talk to a professional about your health.
