• Erase all: with the eraser on, clear the whole track in one tap. • New to SQIA? Your library now opens on a demo project, so there's something playing from the first second. • The second track is part of SQIA Plus again. Projects you already made on two tracks keep both.

About

Play SQIA as you feel. You don't need music theory to make it sound good. This is the music creation app with a grid of dots. Touch one and it lights, and your finger becomes the instrument: drag across the grid and you've drawn a phrase, the notes nearest your finger come up brightest, the ones it passed through more faintly, so a gesture becomes a shape instead of a row of switches. Nothing here needs the right notes. The grid is already in a key, so whatever you touch belongs together in it. Once a pattern is running, it keeps evolving on its own: every hit rolls fresh, the patch wanders once a bar, and a replay never sounds quite the same twice. A GROWING LIBRARY OF SOUNDS • REVERIE: a drifting pad • KALIMBA: a plucked string • RHODES: an electric piano with a slow stereo tremolo • ACID: a bassline whose filter opens on every note • MACHINE: a drum kit laid out across the grid, one instrument per column • BAREFEET: a soft filtered pluck • SAMURAI WALK: an inharmonic string • HANDPAN: a recorded handpan (SQIA Plus) …and more. New sounds arrive on their own, no update needed. Switch sounds mid-pattern and the same drawing turns into a different soundscape. Every soundscape you shape is saved as you play in your library without any limits. SQIA PLUS Open the second track and play two sequences at once: mute one to redraw it while the other keeps going, then bring it back and hear how the two sit together. Export any loop as a WAV, from 20 seconds to a minute. Keep the pattern playing with the screen locked or another app open, and play the Plus sounds. SQIA Plus is an auto-renewable subscription at $1.99 a month. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple Account settings.
