Learn janggi (Korean chess) properly, from the first rule to your first checkmate. Complete beginners and xiangqi players alike can follow along step by step. ■ Lessons — 6 chapters, 29 lessons 1 The rules · 2 Setups and first moves · 3 Basic tactics · 4 Mating patterns · 5 Endgames and results · 6 For xiangqi players. Every lesson has hands-on exercises on the board — "tap every point this cannon can reach", "capture the chariot with your horse" — graded instantly by the rules engine. ■ 120 checkmate puzzles Mate in 1, 2 and 3 with consecutive checks. Every puzzle was found by the AI engine and verified to have a single correct solution. After solving you get an explanation (sacrifice, palace diagonal, the cannon's screen…) and the full solution line. A daily puzzle keeps your streak going. ■ Review coach After a game the app picks up to three of your costliest moves and explains them in plain language — "you lost a piece on the next move", "you could have captured a piece" — and shows the better move on the board. ■ Study plan Rules → mate in 1 → 2 → 3 → practice: see your current stage and three tasks for today. Progress counts only lessons you actually finished and puzzles you actually solved. ■ Setup Lab The four horse/elephant setups unique to janggi: their character, all 16 matchups and your record with each. ■ Play the AI Five levels with the full rules (setups, passing, repetition, 1.5-point bonus). Stuck? Hints are free and unlimited. ■ On-device No server, no sign-in, no cloud — even the AI runs on your phone, so it works in airplane mode. 5 languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. ■ About ads An ad may appear only when you open the app — at most 3 times a day, at least 4 hours apart. Never during lessons, puzzles, games or reviews, and no banners. You never see one on the first launch. Google AdMob processes the device information it needs to serve the ad (not personalized). No purchases, no account, and we don't collect any data ourselves.
