Listing changes AppTracker has observed for this app in this storefront — new versions, price moves, rating shifts, and store copy.
On an iPad in landscape the app now uses the whole screen. The Calendar becomes a grid: days across, meals down, the week at a glance. Tap a meal and a panel beside the grid plans it. Tap a day to change its crew. The grocery list keeps Print, Adjust and Split the shopping in view while the list scrolls, and a split list stands the shoppers' shares side by side, a column each. The Galley shows the meal list beside the full recipe. On iPhone everything looks as it did. Also new since 1.0.6: clearer wording throughout. The About page lists what each tab does and how to start, and the help sheets, warnings and printed pages say the same in fewer words. The Support, Marketing and Privacy Policy links on this page open the app's pages under its current name.

About
Eight crew, seven days, one galley and one trip to the store. Rainbow’s End Provisioning plans every meal of the voyage on a calendar and turns it into the grocery list. WHAT IT DOES • VOYAGE: dates, crew and a provisioning pattern: full (every meal aboard) or split (breakfasts and lunches aboard, most dinners ashore, the way charter weeks run). Say who drinks what, which food allergies are aboard, and whether the crew drinks from the tanks. • CALENDAR: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for each day, each aboard, ashore or off, at anchor or underway. Suggestions plan fresh meals early and one-pot meals underway. It warns about food that won’t keep to its day, meals with a crew allergen, and water the tanks can’t cover. • GALLEY: more than forty meals with per-person amounts and cooking steps for a two-burner galley. Add your own, and record what’s already aboard. • LIST: one grocery list: each meal’s amounts times the crew aboard that day, less what’s aboard, rounded up to real packs. Adjust it, split it by aisle among several shoppers and send each their share, check items into the cart, print it and the calendar as PDFs, or export spreadsheets. WHY IT’S DIFFERENT • Arithmetic you can check. You can’t buy 13 eggs, so it buys 18, and the spreadsheet shows needed, already aboard and to buy. • Built for a boat: keeping windows, the ship’s tanks, meals underway, dinners ashore and the charter pattern. • Offline. No account, no server, no tracking. Nothing leaves your device unless you print, export or send it, or switch on iCloud sync to keep your iPhone and iPad the same through your own iCloud. We built it aboard our ketch Rainbow, from the provisioning lists of our own charter weeks. WHAT IT WON’T DO • It doesn’t order groceries or connect to a store. • It isn’t a recipe app: no photos, no scaling. • It doesn’t plan emergency water or safety stores. Keeping windows and water rates are estimates from cruising practice. An aid to judgment, not a substitute for it. Apps for sailors, by sailors.
