THE CANVAS (it’s Bristol) Locked by default. No zoom, no pan, no rotation. Draw on screen like you would on paper. Literally. Unlock is for cheaters. THE TOOLS One tool = one layer. Switch tools = switch layers. Colors are tied to tools. Switch colors… you guessed it. PENCIL Sketches start with a pencil. Always. Ours is blue by default. A true classic. INK Outlines are step 2. Probably. Very likely. Mostly. Certainly. Default is black. Of course it is. MARKERS Add colors, depth and shadows. Default is Warm Grey 2. PALETTE Built by drawing. Choose a tool/color combo… and voila: Added to your palette. Like a marker box without the smell (also: no refill). ONE UNDO, NO REDO Errors happen, so undo. Once. Erase, if you want more. Redo is just being sloppy. Or insecure. And you’re not sloppy. Nor insecure. You’re confident. SKILL AND SKILL ONLY Each stroke is yours. No symmetry, no fills, no shapes or patterns. No extra smoothing, no shortcuts. No handholding at all. BUILT TO SHOW OFF Share as PNG or PDF, right from the canvas. Create a blackbook from selected sketches, or present selected sketches live (with annotation). Don’t be scared to share unfinished or rough pieces; we all started somewhere.
