ReadyLine Interview

About

ReadyLine Interview Prep is a practice tool for firefighters preparing for promotional oral board interviews: Lieutenant, Captain, and Chief officer. Answer real oral board questions out loud, the way you will in the room. The app times you, tracks your pace and filler words, and scores your answer against a published rubric for structure, substance, alignment, presence, and delivery. You get specific feedback on what to add, cut, or reframe to move up a tier. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Answer by voice or by typing. Speak your answer and it is transcribed for you, or type it in. - Run a full panel simulation: a sequence of questions with follow-ups and a scorecard at the end. - Target your rank. Questions and scoring are set to the officer level you are testing for. - Build a story bank of your real incidents and projects, so you always have an example ready. - Track progress over time with a home dashboard, score history, and a trend line. - Learn the standard. A built-in rubric shows exactly how every answer is scored. ONE-TIME PURCHASE Buy once and everything is unlocked. There is no subscription, no account, and no login. HOW IT IS SCORED Your answer is scored by an AI model against the ReadyLine rubric. This is practice feedback. It is not an official evaluation and does not predict how any real board will score you. INDEPENDENT PRODUCT ReadyLine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any fire department, civil service commission, or testing agency. All questions are generic and standards-based. None are drawn from any actual or upcoming examination. This app does not guarantee promotion, a passing score, or any particular result. YOUR DATA Transcripts and scores stay on your device unless you export them. When you answer by voice, your recording is sent for real-time transcription and is never stored. When you grade an answer, the app sends the question, the rank you are testing for, your delivery metrics, your saved story titles, and your answer text to the grading service. Your audio and the full text of your stories are never sent.
