Fennote: Lecture Recorder

About

Record your lecture. Get the notes. Recap listens to the whole class, then turns it into study material you'd actually have written yourself if your hand could keep up. WHILE YOU RECORD Lock your phone, switch apps, take a call — Recap keeps recording. Audio uploads in pieces as you go, so transcription is already running before the lecture ends. Tap to flag a moment your lecturer says will be on the exam. NOTES WITH CHAPTERS Not a wall of text. Recap writes structured notes broken into chapters you can skim, with the definitions, formulas and worked examples kept in full. Anything your lecturer marked as exam-relevant is flagged. ASK THE LECTURE ANYTHING "What did she say about mitosis?" Recap answers from that recording only, and cites the timestamp. Tap it and the audio jumps to the exact second. If a topic was never mentioned, it says so instead of inventing an answer. A QUIZ FROM EVERY LECTURE Questions built from what was actually taught, so you can check what stuck before the exam does it for you. YOUR CLASSES, ORGANISED Tag each recording with a class and your library sorts itself. WORKS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH Notes come back in the language of the lecture. The app follows your phone's language, and you can switch it in Settings. YOUR AUDIO STAYS YOURS Recordings are uploaded only to be transcribed, then deleted from our servers once your notes are written. The copy you play back lives on your phone. We do not use your recordings to train AI models. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Transcription can mishear names, formulas and technical terms, and the notes are generated from that transcript. Check anything that matters against your slides or your lecturer. Every claim is timestamped so you can hear the original in one tap. BEFORE YOU RECORD Rules on recording lectures differ by country and by institution, and some require your lecturer's permission. Please check yours. RECAP PRO Recording requires a subscription, starting with a 3-day free trial. Weekly, monthly and yearly plans are available.
