A search to the clipboard, and back. Two new buttons sit beside Add phrase. Export copies the search you have open — its phrases, scope, Search Within and filters — as text you can paste into a message or a note. Import reads one back off the clipboard, in place of whatever you are searching. The text is the same format Saved searches exports, so a search sent this way can also be filed on the other phone from the Saved menu. Whole words, counted. The totals line now says how many of a search's occurrences stand as the bare word with nothing after them — the number the punctuation row has always led with, carried up beside occurrences, verses, chapters and books: 973 occurrences, 777 whole words. A phrase filtered to a mark reports what that filter leaves. The app opens quietly. The search box no longer takes the keyboard the moment the app starts, so the recent searches, the examples and the operator reference are all in view; one tap on the box brings the keyboard back. The app's name in the top bar shrinks to fit rather than being cut short.

About
Pure Bible Search finds words in the King James Bible the way a concordance does — by looking them up, not by reading through the text. Type a word and its every occurrence is already counted: 973 for "Jesus", 64,041 for "the", all 790,849 words of the 1769 text indexed and waiting. Because it is a concordance, the app can offer only the words that genuinely come next. Type "in the beg" and it will finish "beginning"; type a word no verse ever follows, and it tells you the phrase is finished. WHAT IT DOES • Instant search of every word and phrase in the King James • Occurrence, verse, chapter and book counts on every search • Filter on just red letters or verses that have a pilcrow • Word-completion drawn from the text itself, never from a dictionary • Wildcards — *eth finds 5,087 occurrences, and ? and [abc] work too • Several phrases at once, together in the same verse, chapter, book or testament • Exclusions: "Jesus" without "Jesus Christ" leaves 777 • Search Within any book, category or testament, colophons and superscriptions included • Results grouped by book, with the verse and occurrence count on every row • Copy verses, raw text or the reference list, headed by the criteria that found them THE COUNTS ARE THE POINT For a great many readers the number is the discovery. Where a total is one of the numbers worth naming, the app prints the arithmetic beside it — 343 (7x7x7), 2,331 (777x3), 1,989 (153x13) — from a table written by hand, so nothing decorates a coincidence. Tap any word to see exactly where it falls: its ordinal in the verse, the chapter, the book, the testament and the whole Bible, with the letters, vowels and consonants counted. NOAH WEBSTER'S 1828 Tap a word and Webster's 1828 Unabridged is underneath the counts — the edition that defines the English the King James is written in, from a man who held that education is "useless without the Bible". OVER 800 PUBLISHED SEARCHES, BUILT IN Brandon Peterson's published search files ship with the app, filed the way he filed them: Sealed By The King page by page, the Golden Sequence, and the featured patterns from kjvcode.com. Every one runs here exactly as it runs on the desktop, and every one shows what it actually finds. WORKS WITH KING JAMES PURE BIBLE SEARCH Saved searches are .kjs files — the desktop's own format. Open one sent to you, share one you built, and the counts agree on both. NOTHING ELSE No account. No network. No advertising, no analytics, nothing collected. The whole Bible and its index are inside the app, so it works with the phone in airplane mode, and it is free. CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE Pure Bible Search is built on the data model of King James Pure Bible Search written by Donna Whisnant at purebiblesearch.com, and follows it deliberately, down to the counts and the copy formats. The built-in searches are Brandon Peterson's, published alongside Sealed By The King.
