Shared time runs the clock. When another household's child is dropped off with the caregiver, shared time starts; when they are picked up, the rate goes back to the one on file, and Clock out waits until every visiting child has been collected. Each household sees its own drop-off and pickup lines, each child's card shows who may pick up, and Hours marks shared rows. When two households recorded different times, Hours says so and offers Match or Keep, and a caregiver can ask a household to correct with one tap. Every money field reads Persian digits and comma decimals the same way, and the Lock Screen and widgets now speak Spanish and Farsi. The caregiver does the job, not the bookkeeping.

About
A rookery is the colony where penguins raise their young side by side. This is that, for a household and everyone who helps look after a child. When more than one person cares for a child, the hard part is not the caring. It is staying in step. What happened this morning. Whether he ate, and when he last slept. What the last person started and did not finish. Who is coming tomorrow, and what was agreed. Rookery Haus is where all of that lives, so nobody has to ask and nobody has to remember. FOR A CAREGIVER This is not something kept about you. It is the thing that protects you. Domestic work goes wrong through ambiguity, and an account of your shift written down as it happened is the answer to a question asked later. • Clock in and clock out. Your hours, your overtime and what you are owed, visible to you and never a surprise. • Write up a nap, a meal, a walk or a note in one tap, with a photo, with your hands full. • Read what the last person left you, and hand over to whoever is next. • Message the household, and reach someone in seconds when you are not sure. • Written in your language. When the household writes in English and you read Spanish, or the other way round, your phone translates it itself, on the phone, and keeps their words one tap away. • The emergency card opens with no signal and without signing in. • Location is shared only while you are clocked in, only if you agree to it, and you can see it running the whole time. It stops when you clock out. FOR A PARENT • One line that says today was fine, without reading a feed. • Everyone who helps, seeing the same day, without you relaying it. • A learning record that accrues for years and survives a change of staff. • Hours, overtime and payments, without becoming a payroll clerk. • Propose a change to a shift, and see whether it was agreed. • See where your child is while they are out, and reach whoever is with them. • Just the basics, for a grandparent: one screen with big buttons, switched on per person. WITHOUT OPENING ANYTHING • On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: who is with your child, since when, where they are, and the last thing written down. It begins when the caregiver clocks in and ends when she clocks out. • On the caregiver's own Lock Screen: her shift clock, whether location is on, and one-tap buttons to write down a nap or a meal or to clock out. • Home Screen widgets: the house at a glance, the clock, one-tap capture, and the emergency card. They keep themselves current. • On Apple Watch: is the child asleep, who is with them, who comes next. A caregiver clocks in and writes down a nap from her wrist. A parent sees where they are. HOW IT IS BUILT Your household runs its own server. This app talks to that address and to nowhere else. There are no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party services, and no account on ours, because there is no ours. Photographs have their location data removed before they are uploaded. What a person may see is decided by your household rather than by this app. Rookery Haus is not a marketplace and will not find you a caregiver. It is how you and the people you already trust stay in step. Requires a household running Rookery. If you have not been sent a sign-in link, this app will have nothing to show you.
