Tasted is where you keep track of eating out: what you ate, where, and whether it was any good. The people you follow do the same, so the next place you try comes from someone whose taste you know. POST WHAT YOU ATE Photograph the dish, pick the place, and give it one word: Great, Fine or Awful. Add a caption, tag the friends you ate with, and it lands on your profile and in your followers' feeds. FIND WHERE TO EAT Explore is a map of restaurants, cafes and bars, drawn as food emoji so you can see at a glance what is around you. Search by name, dish, cuisine or street, see what is open now, and open any place for its photos, reviews and the posts people have written there. FOLLOW PEOPLE WHOSE TASTE YOU TRUST Your feed is meals from people you follow. Like and comment, mention a friend, and find new people by what they actually eat. PLATELISTS Save places to lists: date night, cheap lunch, the spots you send visitors to. Lists are public, so you can browse other people's too. EARN TASTED CASH At participating restaurants, scan your receipt after you eat and earn a share of the bill. A person on our team checks it, usually within a day or two, and the tasted cash shows up in your Wallet. Invite friends who eat out and you earn rewards when they join and have their first receipt approved. Your balance, anything still being checked, and every change to it are in one place. LOOK AROUND FIRST Browse the map and the feed without an account. A phone number signs you in when you want to post, follow people or collect tasted cash. No password, no username. PRIVACY No ads and no cross-app tracking. Location is used while the app is open, to show what is near you, and, only if you allow it, in the background to tell you when you are at a place that pays tasted cash. Your location never leaves your phone for that. Contacts are optional and only used to find friends already here and to invite the ones you choose. Tasted cash is a reward balance shown in the app. Participating restaurants and rates vary and are shown in the app, and every receipt is reviewed by a person. Restaurant information comes from Google Places. Sign-in requires a phone number that can receive SMS.
