New version 1.2.3 → 1.3.0

Today's plan for Pro has been rebuilt, and the Log screen is cleaner. You can now save notes and start/end times. Today's plan (Pro) Based on your split and your recovery, RecovaCoach picks today's day and exercises, with today's weight × reps from your last session, the reason, and what it takes to add weight next time. Save up to three places with their equipment, and choose a goal. If you have two or more places, it asks where you're training once a day. Choose a workout length of up to 30 or 45 minutes (Auto by default): the place tag on the card shows the estimated time, and you can change it just for today. After you start, you can still change the place or time, swap an exercise, or undo the start. Plateaus now show up in the plan instead of as notifications, and the weekly tip looks at sets per muscle. You can fold the plan card on Home into a single line, or turn the plan off in Settings › Today's plan (Home still shows the muscles that are recovering). Today's Pick The day suggested to free users now uses the new way of choosing, too. A cleaner Log screen Exercise cards are shorter. Your last session fits on one line, and logged sets are shorter too, still with the estimated 1RM and Delete. Deleting a set now asks you to confirm. Today's targets fold into a single line once you've logged them all. + Add Exercise is right at the top, with Routines in the small ≡ button next to it. Routines and Copy This Day in History now add your last weight × reps as today's targets. Sets are saved only when you tap Log, so they're no longer added twice. Other screens are simpler too: muscle recovery on Home, exercises in the Calendar, and days in History each fit on one line (tap to open), and the Stats summary is shorter. Today's Summary at the bottom of Home and the count tiles at the bottom of the Calendar have been removed (the day's totals are in the Today's Workout bar on the Log screen, and workout counts are in Stats). Recovery outlook The recovery list on Home now shows about when each muscle will be recovered. With Pro, tap a muscle to compare the standard time with yours and see why. Notes and times Add a note to the day and to each exercise. The next time you do that exercise, your last note is shown. Start and end times fill in automatically and can be edited. This week The streak on Home is now a count of this week's workouts, so a rest day doesn't reset it. Exercises Added Chest Dips (162 in total). Search now finds exercises by other common names, such as "pec fly" for Pec Deck. Export (Pro) Choose Day, Week, Month, or All when exporting to CSV. Notes are included. Also in this release • Fixed estimated 1RMs, personal bests, and Pro recovery keeping old values after a set was edited or deleted. Past corrections are recalculated with this update, so values may go down where you fixed a typo • Fixed Pro recovery sometimes not counting bodyweight-only days, such as pull-ups • Fixed body type options being unavailable after entering muscle mass • Fixed custom exercises not counting toward recovery after restoring a backup until the app was reopened • Fixed hidden exercises, edited workout durations, and settings such as language not coming back from a backup. Saved routines are now included in backups • Fixed CSV exports showing Japanese exercise names in English and shifting columns for names with commas • Fixed a share reminder sometimes describing deleted sets • Fixed the screen behind the share sheet showing through at the top • Light mode is easier to read, and the tab bar and keyboard now follow the app's appearance • Shorter descriptions in Notifications, Backup & Export, and Timer Settings • Sheets can now be closed by swiping down • Tap the rest timer's time to change it • Restore Purchases is now at the bottom of Settings › Pro Plan • Corrected recovery explanations that didn't apply to the free version

About

Go beyond just logging your workouts. RecovaCoach is a strength training app that helps you manage not only your workouts, but your recovery too. ■ See each muscle's recovery at a glance Check which muscles have recovered and which are still recovering on a body map, covering your chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms, core, and more. It also shows about when each muscle will be recovered. With Pro, recovery times are estimated from your sets, weights, and profile, such as age and body type. ■ Know what to train today Based on your split (push, pull, legs, and so on) and your recovery, RecovaCoach suggests today's day and muscles, helping you train efficiently while avoiding overtraining. With Pro, Today's plan shows weight × reps for each exercise from your last session, the reason, and when to add weight. It fits your equipment at each place and your goal, and can fit a workout of up to 30 or 45 minutes. ■ Simple yet detailed logging Log weight × reps, time, or bodyweight exercises, each in the format that fits. Your previous numbers are shown automatically, so logging is quick. Work in kilograms or pounds, and set your height in feet and inches. Add notes to each day and exercise, and keep your start and end times. ■ 162 exercises, each with an illustration Chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms, glutes, traps, forearms, calves and abs — 162 free-weight, machine, and bodyweight exercises are built in. Each illustration shows the movement and highlights the muscles it works. One exercise can work more than one muscle, so a bench press counts toward your shoulders and triceps as well as your chest. You can add your own exercises too. Search also finds exercises by other common names, such as "pec fly." ■ Watch your strength climb Every set shows its estimated 1RM, and sets that match or beat your previous best are marked MAX. Open any exercise to see how that number has moved over weeks and months, alongside its personal best history. ■ Start from your routines Exercise combinations you do often are detected automatically, so you can start them again in one tap. ■ Never miss a personal best Every set is checked automatically, and RecovaCoach celebrates the moment you hit a new PR. ■ Review your progress Stats are split into Summary, By Exercise, and By Muscle, so you can zoom out to your overall volume or drill into a single lift. The free version covers the last 3 months; Pro unlocks a full year and your entire history. ■ Share your effort Turn a day's workout, a list of every exercise you did, your recovery map, or a new personal best into an image. With Add to Photo, a sticker of the muscles you trained and your volume goes right onto your own photo. Tap Finish on the Log screen after your last set to share the day's summary right away. Transparent stickers are available too. ■ Check your rest time on the Lock Screen Your rest timer appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can see the time until your next set without picking up your phone. It also appears on Apple Watch. (iOS 16.2 or later; Apple Watch requires watchOS 11 or later) Your workout logs are stored on your device, and you can log workouts even when you're offline. Some features require a Pro subscription (in-app purchase), available monthly or annually. Great for you if you: • Just started strength training and aren't sure what to train • Want to avoid overtraining • Want to manage recovery, not just log workouts • Want to see the results of your training About Pro (auto-renewing) • Pro Monthly — renews automatically every month • Pro Annual — renews automatically every 12 months • How to cancel: cancel in your device's Settings at least 24 hours before your next renewal date Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://recovacoach-app.github.io/recovacoach-site/en/#privacy
