Shop Minder: Nearby Reminders

About

Shop Minder remembers the errands you only think of when you're nowhere near the shop, and nudges you the moment you're actually there. Not a to-do list. Shop Minder is built specifically for location-based reminders: the hardware store item, the pharmacy pickup, the specific shop you drive past without remembering what you needed there. Set a place, or a whole type of store, like Hardware Store, covering every branch you use, and attach what you need there. Shop Minder alerts you the moment you're nearby, even with the app closed, using your phone's location in the background. WHAT YOU CAN DO ● Save places via a map search or by dropping a pin ● Group places into store types, like Hardware Store, so any branch alerts you ● Attach an item to a specific place or to a whole store type ● Get alerted the moment you're nearby, even with the app closed ● Tick items off as you shop, or leave one as "Anywhere" for a plain reminder ● A quiet badge shows what's alerted and still on your list ● Email or print an A4 checklist grouped by shop ● Back up your places, store types, and items as a CSV file any time HOW IT WORKS Shop Minder is free to use for saving unlimited places and store types, and for arrival alerts on one actively tracked item at a time. Unlocking the full version (a single one-time purchase, no subscription, ever) lets you track more than one item's location at once. Nearby alerts are handled by iOS's own location-monitoring system, which limits how many places can be actively watched at once regardless of unlock state, a device limit rather than a feature held back. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Shop Minder doesn't ask for an account, doesn't use analytics or ads, and doesn't send anything to a server. Your places, items, and location are used only on your own device to power arrival alerts. Shop Minder is part of Life Admin Minder, a small family of apps from Craft+Sense Studio for the ordinary things worth keeping track of.
