ERA: VHS & Retro Video Camera

About

Not a filter. A camera. ERA is a catalogue of 51 cameras from six decades. Pick one, press the shutter, and what you shoot looks and sounds like that machine recorded it. VHS with its tracking and its date. A Super 8 with gate weave and a projector motor. A Y2K digicam at 3.2 megapixels. A disposable with its flash two metres from your face. Ten are free. All of them shoot free; Pro is asked for when you save. THE CATALOGUE • Tape: VHS, Camcorder, CAM 03, Broadcast • Film: Gold '98, Super 8, 8mm, 16mm, Disposable, Instant, Slide • Digital: Digicam '03, Webcam '08, Old Phone '06, Pixel 98 • Cinema: eleven grades at 24 frames a second with widescreen bars • Screens: Story, Snap, Live, Call, Dual, the phone's own interface burned in • Looks: Clean, Creme, Noir, Mood, Pop, Golden Hour and more Every Camera has its own page: what it is, what it does to the picture, and a before-and-after you drag. SHOOT, OR BRING IT IN Shoot video or photos live through the viewfinder, or import anything from your camera roll and develop it after. Swipe the picture to change Camera. Recording locks it in, like a real one. THE DATE IS YOURS Every stamp is backdatable. A VHS from 1998, a digicam from 2003, your birthday. It is burned into the frame and survives to the camera roll. SOUND, NOT SILENCE Each Camera carries its own sound: tape hiss, a motor, the room. Your video's audio goes through it. STUDIO (BETA) Put takes in an order and develop them as one film, through one Camera. Trim, captions, a bed of sound, 4K out with Pro. YOURS TO KEEP Full resolution to your camera roll. No watermark. No export limits. No account. Nothing you shoot is uploaded, ever. ERA PRO Every Camera, 4K export, and the cuts. Privacy: https://era.viorastudio.com/privacy Terms: https://era.viorastudio.com/terms
