Keep your Japan shopping records together, from the receipt to the refund status you enter. Kanpu helps you review purchases across stores and see which records still need your attention. Demo records stay separate from your own records and do not use your three free purchases. PLAN BEFORE YOU SHOP List what you plan to buy with prices and stores. Kanpu shows the planned total and how much of it may come back, assuming items from the same store are bought together on the same day. Up to five planned items are free. RECEIPTS AND AMOUNTS, TOGETHER Photograph a receipt for on-device text recognition, check the suggested details, and correct them or enter amounts manually. Keep the original photo with the purchase. YOUR OWN PROGRESS RECORD Record a purchase, mark customs confirmation yourself, and record a refund you have received. Estimated amounts and your own entries help you review progress; they are not confirmation from a store or customs. PREPARE FOR DEPARTURE Review purchases by store and date, see guidance based on the rules included in the app, and use a departure-day checklist. Optional reminders require notification permission. Always check official guidance for the rules that apply to your purchase. YOUR CURRENCY, YOUR RATE Pick your home currency from presets such as TWD, HKD, KRW, CNY, USD, and EUR, then enter your own exchange rate to display estimates alongside yen. Export records as CSV or PDF when you choose to share them. CLEAR FREE AND PAID FEATURES Record up to three purchases and five planned items free. A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited purchases and planned items, Airport mode, optional reminders, and CSV/PDF export. No subscription. The current local price appears in the App Store purchase screen. Previous purchases can be restored in Settings. RECORDS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE Receipt photos and purchase records are stored on your device. Receipt recognition runs on-device. No Kanpu account or analytics is required. Purchases and restoration use the App Store; opening support or official links and sharing exports use the services you choose. Kanpu is an independent record-keeping app. It does not submit refund applications, verify customs clearance, or issue refunds. It does not guarantee eligibility, payment amounts, or payment dates. Reminder reservations are updated to reflect changes to your trip and purchase records. Notification permission is required; delivery also depends on device settings.
