About
HeartStory helps you understand the heart information your Apple Watch records and stores in Apple Health. See your latest available heart-rate reading, daily range, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, walking heart-rate average, sleeping heart rate, respiratory rate, cardio fitness, and heart-rate recovery where those values are available. EXPLORE YOUR DAY • Review a chronological heart-rate timeline • See recorded readings without invented values filling the gaps • Check the source and time behind each value NOTICE PERSONAL PATTERNS • Compare recent values with your own history • Explore 7-, 28-, and 90-day trends • Read explainable observations based on the data available • See the periods, samples, and calculation rules behind comparisons UNDERSTAND THE METRICS • Learn what each metric means and how Apple records it • Understand why values can change • Keep personal context separate from universal targets PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No HeartStory account • No ads or third-party analytics • Health information is read from Apple Health and processed on your device HeartStory requires heart data recorded by Apple Watch and available in Apple Health. The newest reading may be several minutes old; HeartStory is not continuous or live monitoring. HeartStory is for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not provide a diagnosis, and is not an emergency service.
