Golden Almanac

About

Golden Almanac is a planting calendar built for the way California actually grows — not one generic schedule, but month-by-month windows tuned to your microclimate, from the foggy coast to the inland valleys, desert, and mountains. KNOW YOUR WINDOW Pick your region (or enter a ZIP for your exact USDA zone) and every one of 90+ crops shows its true seed, plant, and harvest months where YOU live. Star what you grow and the calendar becomes yours. YOUR GARDEN'S MEMORY Log harvests in seconds, tag beds and pots, and build a season-by-season journal you'll actually look back on. Track your seed packets in the Seed Bank — so at the nursery you'll know what you already own. STAY ON SCHEDULE A task list with smart suggestions for your region and month, location tags, repeating tasks, and an optional daily check-in reminder. LEARN AS YOU GROW A plain-English glossary, growing guides, and sun/space/container notes for every crop. GOLDEN ALMANAC PREMIUM (subscription) • The Botanist — unlimited questions for an AI gardening expert who already knows your zone, your month, and every crop in your garden. Attach a photo of a struggling plant for a diagnosis in seconds. • Packet Reader — snap any seed packet and it's typed into your Seed Bank for you. • Photo journaling — attach photos to any harvest entry. • Variety picks — curated, zone-aware variety recommendations. • Task reminders — pings for water days, feeding schedules, and harvest windows. The calendar, journal, tasks, glossary, and seed bank are free forever. No ads, no trackers, no selling your data — your garden is yours. Premium is $5.99/month or $49.99/year (auto-renewing; cancel anytime in your App Store settings). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
