Instead - Urge & Walking Map

About

Whether the urge is loud or quiet, Instead helps you walk through it, create space before you act, and see how much ground you’ve taken back—one street at a time. • Fog that clears when you walk Your map starts covered. Walk instead of acting on an urge, and the fog lifts behind you, leaving a trail in that urge’s color. Over time, you build a map only you could make. • Walk through what you’re fighting Lust, doomscrolling, texting your ex, anxiety, or anything you add. Every walk has a reason, so your map becomes a record of what you’ve walked through, not just where you’ve been. • Your map, your colors Give each urge a color and watch it spread across the streets you reclaim. Every trail means something because every trail started with a choice. • See the urge shift Rate how strong it feels before you walk and again when you finish. See what changed while distance, time, and steps add up. • History with a place Every walk keeps its route, stats, and location, letting you look back and see where certain urges show up and how you responded. • Progress you can see Watch your revealed map grow over time. A few blocks become streets. Streets become neighborhoods. Every walk becomes part of something bigger. Why Instead An urge is a moment. Instead gives you somewhere to go with it. Walk long enough to create some distance between the feeling and what you do next, then leave something behind you can actually see: a cleared street, a colored path, another piece of your map reclaimed.
