An unofficial practice app published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government body and is not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada. Prepare for the Canadian citizenship test, in English or in French. According to IRCC, the citizenship test has 20 questions, multiple choice or true or false, is in English or French, lasts 45 minutes, and you need at least 15 of 20 correct to pass. You get 3 chances to pass. This app's mock exams use the same number of questions, time limit and pass mark. WHAT YOU CAN DO ▸ Practise on 450 questions, topic by topic: rights and responsibilities, and Canada's history, geography, economy, government, laws and symbols. ▸ Answer by tapping a picture: in practice and review, 17 questions have four pictures as answers (symbols, sports, provinces on the map, landscapes, cities and historic sites, trades). Mock exams stay in text. ▸ Choose the language of the questions in Settings: the 450 questions, their explanations and the 7 fact sheets exist in English and in French. The interface is in English, French or Arabic. ▸ Sit timed mock exams of 20 questions in 45 minutes. Move forward or back, change your answers, jump to any question from a grid and tick "review later". The Submit button turns on once all 20 questions have an answer. The countdown keeps running if you leave the app; when time runs out, the exam is marked with the answers you chose. ▸ Build a custom mock exam: your topics, your number of questions, your own timer or the pace of the test. ▸ Review your mistakes, and let smart review bring back what you know least. ▸ Revise with per-topic fact sheets and flashcards. ▸ Work offline: questions, explanations and fact sheets ship inside the app. WHERE THE CONTENT COMES FROM Questions are written from the study guide "Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship", published free of charge by IRCC, and every question names the chapter it comes from. The French questions follow the French edition of the same guide. When a fact in the guide has changed since it was published, for example the Sovereign or the Governor General, the question follows the current situation and the explanation says so.
