Change the usable width of your fabric or your seam allowance once, and every calculator follows. CUT SIZES ROUND UP, AND THE APP TELLS YOU WHY A piece cut short is scrap. A piece cut long is trimmable. So cut sizes round up to the nearest eighth, yardage rounds up to the increment your shop will actually cut, and finished sizes round to the nearest. You are never left guessing which rule applied. A STASH THAT STAYS HONEST Add a fabric with its color, its maker, the width of the bolt, and what you paid. What you have left is worked out from what you bought and what you actually cut, never from a running total that someone forgot to update. Flag what you are low on.
