RideSignal: Turn Signals

About

RideSignal turns your phone into a clear rear signaling display for cycling, running and walking. Mount the phone where it can be seen from behind, start a Ride, and use large visual signals designed to be easy to recognize at a glance. KEY FEATURES • Large left and right turn signals • Hazard signal for high visibility • Manual controls directly on the rear display • Thai and English voice commands for hands-free signaling • Activate turn signals by pressing and holding the screen briefly, or double-tap to turn them off. • Turn signals automatically turn off after a set time. • Auto Direction for automatic left/right turn indication • Bicycle and Running/Walking activity profiles • Forward-motion indicator inside the rear light • Profile-specific slowdown and brake indication using motion sensors • Double-tap cancel and haptic feedback • Portrait, landscape, or automatic display orientation • Built-in demo mode to preview signals without starting a Ride AUTO DIRECTION Auto Direction detects meaningful direction changes. It is not navigation, does not provide routes, and does not predict upcoming turns. BICYCLE AND RUNNING/WALKING PROFILES RideSignal keeps separate activity profiles so movement and slowdown behavior can match the way the phone moves during cycling or running/walking. VOICE CONTROL Choose English or Thai voice recognition and use short commands such as turn left, turn right, cancel signal, or hazard while a Ride is active. PRIVACY RideSignal does not require an account. The current release has no advertising, analytics SDK, or app backend. App settings are stored locally on the device. SAFETY RideSignal is a supplemental visibility and signaling aid. It does not replace legally required bicycle lights, reflectors, hand signals, local traffic rules, or safe riding practices. Always mount the phone securely and confirm the display is visible before riding.
