About
Palabra Lexi makes foreign words stick by sound. Type a word that won't stick - Palabra Lexi shows a sound-alike association (a keyword mnemonic) with a vivid one-line story and asks you to recall the word yourself. The shared base holds tens of thousands of words with ready associations; if yours isn't there yet, it joins the overnight queue and its association is ready by morning. After two clean recalls the hint disappears: from then on you're remembering the word, not the crutch. A PERFECT COMPANION Palabra Lexi works alongside whatever you already do: language-learning apps, courses, or lessons with a tutor. Met a stubborn word in another app or in class? Drop it into Palabra Lexi and let it actually stick. WHY IT WORKS - Keyword mnemonics beat rote learning only when paired with recall practice, so every association ends with an attempt to remember, timed by a spaced-repetition scheduler (FSRS). - The hint is removed as soon as the word holds on its own: real memory is measured "naked". - Reviews are scheduled for the moment you're about to forget. WHAT'S INSIDE FOR FREE - The whole word base: Spanish and Greek vocabulary with associations, translations and transliteration, verb forms and search by form. - English is taught as well, but only from Russian: in the English version "English through English sound-alikes" makes no sense, so the third language appears when the interface language is Russian. - Ready-made word webs, texts, songs, pairs, categories, games and a level test. - Conjugation practice - one round a day; My memory - the share of words you still recall a week later. - Progress as mountaineering: each CEFR level is a mountain, from Olympus (A1) to Everest (C2), with camps along the slope. - 30 new words a month that aren't in the base yet: the association is ready by morning. - Streaks, daily goals, and a study calendar. PLUS SUBSCRIPTION - New words without a monthly count, first in the overnight queue. - Unlimited conjugation practice on your own verbs: person and tense to form, and back. - My memory in full: hard words, a 7-day review forecast, export to CSV and Anki. - A new association variant, webs and songs on new topics by morning, words from a photo or a screenshot, text quizzes. • "Plus (1 month)" — 1 month • "Plus (1 year)" — 1 year Subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on purchase confirmation. You can manage and cancel renewal in your Apple ID settings. No password: sign in by a link or code from your email. Your review schedule lives on the server, so it follows you across devices. Associations and study material are prepared by AI and checked automatically, but can contain mistakes.
