Four riders, four stables, one castle to reach. You know the race. What you do not know yet is what happens when two riders land on the same square. THE JOUST Elsewhere the piece goes home and that is that. Here the race stops and the two riders face each other in a card duel. Same color or same figure, one card after another. The Portcullis skips a turn, the Horseshoe makes the other draw, the Hay bale makes them draw twice and skips their turn, the Blazon changes the color. The first to empty their hand wins, and the loser walks home. EIGHT RIDERS, FOUR STABLES Diva and Baron, Bourrin and Douce, Malin and Vigie, Rockeur and Braise. You pick yours at the start and play from its stable. Each has a temper of their own and a way of commenting on what happens to them, whether they win a duel or trudge back to the start. CARDS THAT CHANGE THE RACE The shield protects you from being taken. The fireball strikes a rider from a distance. The loaded die gives you the value you want. The swap exchanges two pieces. The farrier rolls again. The shortcut cuts straight across the board. Six cards, won in duels and kept for the right moment. THIRTY-FIVE ACHIEVEMENTS Win three duels in a row, climb back from last place, finish without ever being taken, crush an opponent without letting them play a single card. Every feat is kept in a record that follows you from game to game and raises your rank. WHAT THE GAME DOES NOT DO No advertising. No account to create. No in-app purchase. Not a single connection to any server, ours included: the game runs entirely offline, on a plane or deep in a cellar. You pay once, you have everything.
