About
Plan it, do it, write it down, look back. Punikuma Life Log puts all four in one app, with a little bear called Punikuma who says something at each turn of the day. ■ The gap between what you planned and what you did stays on the record You meant to study from 10:00. You actually started at 10:30. This app keeps both of those as a single entry. A calendar app only holds the plan. A to-do app only holds whether it is finished. Neither keeps "did the day go as planned". Here, one plan carries both a planned time and the time you actually started. When you mark it done, the current time goes in as it is — the planned time never overwrites it. So "started 30 minutes late" is simply there, as a fact. Things you did without planning them can be added afterwards too — real days fill up with unplanned things. ■ Five screens that share one date ・Calendar — a month grid. Each square shows the day's plans, how much of the goals were reached, and how many things were bought. Tap a day and the other screens move to it. ・Plans — the day in time order, each with a duration and a note. Switch between what you planned and what you did. Yesterday's plans copy over in one tap. ・Goals — what you want done that day. Nothing is judged automatically; you tick it yourself. Finishing a plan does not silently mark a goal as reached. ・Monthly goals — things you stack up over a month: "3 books", "12 workouts", "50 hours of study". Going past the target is kept, not trimmed to 100%. ・Shopping — tick something off when you buy it. It does not disappear; the date goes in and it moves to your history. ■ It answers "wait, did I just buy that?" As you type an item, the app tells you when you last bought the same thing. "Bought 3 days ago" appears right under the field, so you don't buy it twice. From the history, one tap puts the same item back on your list. An app that deletes what you bought cannot do this. ■ Reminders, decided per plan Each plan can have a reminder on or off, at the planned time, 10 minutes before, or 30 minutes before. They arrive in Punikuma's voice — a line like "It's about time to start!" on your lock screen. Change a planned time and the old reminder does not survive to tell you about a plan that already moved. No server is involved. ■ Punikuma is there with you Open it in the morning and you get "Morning!". Reach every goal for the day and you get "Congrats!". At the end of a day, "Nice work today!". The artwork is the LINE sticker set "Punikuma!" itself, drawn by this app's own developer and shown here as it is. The buddy on your home screen is yours to pick, as are the theme color, background and typeface. ■ Japanese and English, switchable inside the app Settings has a Language row: follow the device, Japanese, or English — no need to change your device language. The words drawn inside the artwork stay Japanese, because they are part of the pictures; everything else is in English. ■ Everything stays on your device No account, and no email address asked for. Your plans, what you did, your goals and your shopping are never sent anywhere. There is no cloud sync — records live in a file on your device, and the only network use is showing ads. A record of your life is the kind of data you least want other people holding, so it is built to stay where you wrote it. Losing or resetting the device, or deleting the app, does lose it: there is no backup feature. ■ Free, and one-time Premium Records are unlimited in number and reminders are free. Looking back covers the last 30 days, with some themes and 8 of Punikuma's pictures from the start. There is no cap on the records themselves — a cap is what stops people writing every day. Premium removes all ads, opens the full history, unlocks every look and brings all 40 Punikuma pictures. Not a subscription: buy it once and it stays, and Restore purchase carries it to another device on the same Apple ID. This app is for iPhone only.
