HOW THE PREDICTION WORKS BeTaller blends three published methods: Khamis-Roche (Pediatrics, 1994), Vietnamese population height data from the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration (The Lancet, 2020) and mid-parental (Tanner) height. Khamis-Roche was built on a Western population and runs high for Vietnamese children, so we limit its weight and anchor the result to Vietnamese data. Every source is listed in the app, linked to the original paper.
