It estimates syllable counts, builds a practical meter target for every stanza, and highlights lines that sit above or below that contour. End-sound signatures gather related line endings into rhyme families for faster review. The Rewrite Lab keeps the analysis editable. Change a lyric line, correct its syllable count, or assign a deliberate rhyme-family label when pronunciation, delivery, or slant rhyme matters more than an automated suggestion. Original decisions remain attached to the saved draft. Export a designed PDF worksheet for a writing session or a structured CSV for your own archive. Automated syllable and rhyme suggestions are writing aids and should be checked against the intended accent and performance. Everything runs locally. There is no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or Gobling Company server upload. Files leave only when you choose a destination through Apple's share sheet.
